A Different Kind of Law Firm

Where technical expertise meets legal excellence

Awad Law P.C. was founded on a simple principle: the best legal counsel for technology companies, period. Our clients appreciate that they don't need to explain nuance with us. We can move faster and provide more effective, strategic counsel. We think of ourselves as dealing with everything "electricity and up" — from semiconductor fabrication and operating systems to web development and artificial intelligence.

This isn't theoretical knowledge; it comes from years of hands-on experience building and scaling technology products, along with the niche regulatory issues that come along with that. Whether it's intellectual property, structuring technology transactions, or providing expert testimony in complex technology disputes, we're ready to help tackle whatever industry throws at you.

About David

I've spent the last several years at the intersection of technology, law, and finance. Before founding this firm, I ran engineering teams at multiple venture-backed startups, served as CTO more than once, and worked on both buy-side and sell-side transactions for venture capital and private equity firms.

This experience gives me a perspective that most attorneys simply don't have. I've been in the founder's chair when negotiating term sheets. I've led technical due diligence from the investor side. I've managed engineering teams through acquisitions. I understand the technology because I've built it, and I understand the business because I've run it.
